Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy or use Enzisoft packages, the Enzisoft store at enzisoft.com and the package registry at upm.enzisoft.com (together, "the service"). They are an agreement between you and us.

Who we are

Enzisoft is the trading name of Thomas Enzenebner e.U., Wiesenstraße 8/4, 4591 Molln, Austria ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship of Thomas Enzenebner. More details are in the Imprint. Contact: enzisoft@gmail.com.

Accepting these terms

By buying a license, downloading a package or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you buy or use the service for a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

Buying

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, taxes, invoices and refunds under the Paddle Buyer Terms.

  • Prices are shown on each package's store page. Taxes depend on your country and are calculated at checkout.
  • Purchases are one-time payments. Nothing renews automatically.
  • Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

What a purchase includes

  • A license for one seat (see below) for every release of the package published during its update period. The store page states the update period, for example "every release published in the 12 months after purchase" or "every future release".
  • Releases covered by your purchase stay licensed to you permanently, even after the update period ends. Releases published after it need a new purchase, which extends your update period.
  • Downloads through your Enzisoft account, both in the Unity Package Manager and from the package's store page.

License

Packages are licensed, not sold. We keep all rights to the packages and the service, including copyright in the packages' source code. A purchased seat lets you:

  • use the package in the Unity Editor on any of your own computers;
  • change its source code for your own projects;
  • ship the package, changed or not, as part of games and applications you build and distribute, without royalties;
  • publish projects that depend on the package, including open-source projects, as long as they don't contain the package or its source code (everyone who uses them with the package needs their own seat).

You may not:

  • give the package, its source code or your account to anyone who does not have their own seat;
  • publish, redistribute, sublicense or sell the package or its source code, changed or not, on its own or as part of an asset, template, tool or library for other developers (this includes public source code repositories);
  • remove copyright or license notices.

Seats: a seat is one person. Everyone who works on a project that contains the package needs their own seat, whether or not they work with the package directly (for example programmers, artists, designers and testers). Automated build machines that only build the project don't need a seat. A seat cannot be transferred to someone else without our written consent.

Client work: seats cover your own projects. If you work on a project for a client, the client needs seats for everyone working on it, including you; your own seats don't cover the client's project.

Free packages are covered by the license file included with them instead of this section.

Your account

Keep your sign-in and the access tokens of your Unity Editors to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it. We log downloads to detect misuse; see the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • break the law, commit fraud or send spam;
  • infringe our or anyone else's intellectual property;
  • interfere with its security, for example by spreading malware, probing or scanning it for weaknesses, scraping it, bulk-downloading it, or getting around its access controls.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep the store and the registry running, but we do not guarantee that they are always available or free of errors. Packages already installed in your project keep working without our servers; keep copies of the releases you depend on.

Packages are provided as they are, with the documentation on their store pages. As far as the law allows, we do not promise that a package is free of errors or suits your particular project. If you are a consumer, your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend your account, end your license, or both, in case of:

  • a material breach of these terms;
  • non-payment, including a refund or chargeback of the purchase;
  • a security or fraud risk;
  • repeated or serious violations.

Where it is reasonable, we tell you first and give you the chance to put things right. When a license ends, you must stop using the releases it covered and delete your copies. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

Liability

We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for personal injury, and wherever mandatory law (including consumer protection law) does not allow a limit. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused through slight negligence, and not for lost profits or lost data. Back up your projects.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future purchases and future use of the service. The date at the top shows the current version. A change never takes away a license for releases you have already bought.

Applicable law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. For businesses, the courts competent for Molln, Austria, have jurisdiction.
